Who is Alliance Resources Group?
Alliance Resources Group is a subsidiary of Amlon Resources Group (ARG) LLC that specializes in developing reclamation programs for spent fatty catalyst and metal containing solutions.
What is the freight cost of my shipment?
In most cases, Amlon’s reclamation program covers all aspects of the project from pick up at your door to final delivery. As a result, Amlon usually incorporates freight costs into the overall package cost. However, for your information, we calculate your final freight costs based on a number of factors including the proper classification of the material and the type of carrier that’s required and licensed to transport your products. Ask us for a breakdown of your specific costs.
How can I utilize the Amlon Advisory Board?
Amlon’s Advisory Board members are leaders in their respective areas of expertise and are ready and able to lend their experience to any of Amlon’s clientele. With a call to our New York headquarters, we can coordinate a conference call between you and the requested or appropriate Advisory Board Member. This is just another benefit available to our clients.
Where does my material go?
In every instance, Amlon ensures that your material is processed by one of our audited subcontracted facilities. These facilities adhere to all pertinent local and national regulatory agencies. Amlon works closely with our partner facilities to track progress, and issues a Certificate of Consumption to the generator after the material has been processed. Who is CATEAM?
CATEAM is a division of Amlon that consists of highly skilled personnel whose primary responsibility it is to manage spent catalyst. They’ve been looking after this area of specialty for over 15 years and provides valuable supplementary expertise to the engineering, processing and logistical component of managing these resources. CATEAM is comprised of former catalyst manufacturers and processors to provide unrivalled service to spent catalyst generators.
How do I get started?
If your facility generates a metal-bearing material including concentrates, spent catalysts, scraps or residues, the best way to get started is by filling out a Material Profile Sheet that can be found here. Upon receipt, one of our materials management professionals will review the contents and be in touch regarding the any additional information, comments, samples and the next steps. Once this data has been collected and evaluated, we’ll then submit a proposal for the reclamation of your materials. What advantage does recycling have over landfill?
There’s really no comparison when weighing up recycling versus landfill! These days, ‘going green’ by recycling byproducts and secondary materials whenever possible plays an invaluable role in reducing your company’s carbon footprint. By reusing raw materials, reducing ores and concentration depletion and saving landfill space, you’ll send your employees, community and shareholders the right message regarding your company’s values. Additionally, depending on the type of waste, reclamation can streamline, reduce or even eliminate certain environmental reporting requirements. In most cases, reclamation allows generators to earn metal credits or receive positive payments instead of having to pay costly tipping fees. It’s also the right thing to do!
What are the documentation and regulatory requirements?
There’s no one, easy answer to this question as every facility has its own needs in terms of handling specific materials. Additionally, every city, state, province or country has their own requirements as well. However, in order to get started understanding the regulatory requirements for your company, simply submit a Material Profile Sheet to us. Once we’ve reviewed your data, we’ll ask for any additional information we need such as an MSDS, TCLP, TML, analysis, sample or Assay Certificate. This will help us to understand your byproducts so we can assess the best reclamation options for your specific needs. You’ll then be provided with a logistics plan which will contain more information about the documentation and regulatory requirements that must be followed. Our compliance personnel can then work with you at the plant, local and governmental levels to ensure proper handling throughout all parts of the supply chain.
What determines appropriate packing?
The most appropriate packaging for you will depend on the materials and quantities of it that you’re transporting. Because Amlon is a large, global company, we’re able to source a very wide range of packaging options and will help you to determine which is the best choice for packaging and transporting your reclamation. As always, the first step to determining what’s best for you is for us to review your needs by completing our Material Profile Sheet. We’ll then involve our logistics personnel to troubleshoot packaging options and determine the most appropriate way to transport your goods to avoid dangerous spillages, leaks, load-requirements, blocking, bracing, costly fines for non-compliance and material loss.
Can you manage materials classified as waste?
Definitely! When developing a reclamation program for waste products, we select subcontracted facilities that have the appropriate licenses to process these materials. Our logistics department can recommend the best packaging and licensed carriers for your needs. We’re then able to safely collect your byproducts and deliver them to our facilities in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
What is the timeline?
Amlon’s operations group reviews every project and determines the most appropriate way to expedite materials delivery. Amlon ships directly to contracted, audited facilities without warehousing or delays that potentially leave our generators open to downstream liability. What is the minimum quantity for shipment?
Amlon doesn’t have a minimum quantity required for shipment. However, we’ll always guide you to ensure that their material is shipped in the most efficient and economical way. If the material is generated on a regular basis, it may be beneficial to accumulate minimum quantities before collection and processing but we also offer solutions to one-time generation.
